dream fragrance notes: citrus bergamot, musk tea and amber jasmine

Dream reed diffuser: what it smells like and where it works

The Dream reed diffuser smells of bright citrus and bergamot over jasmine and tea, finishing on soft musk and amber. At 3 out of 5 for strength, it sits right in the middle of the kirri range: easy to notice, never overpowering.

That middle rating makes Dream an easy choice when you want one diffuser that works in almost any room.

The notes, top to base

Dream is built in three clear layers.

  • Top, citrus and bergamot: clean and bright, the first thing you notice as you walk past
  • Heart, jasmine and tea: the tea keeps the jasmine from going too floral, so it reads dry and a little green
  • Base, musk and amber: soft and warm, and the part that lingers in the room hours later

Put simply, it starts like a lemon cut on a sunny bench and ends closer to warm wool.

What a 3 out of 5 feels like

Expect a 200ml Dream reed diffuser to scent a standard bedroom, living room or study on its own. Walk into the room and you'll notice it. Step into the hallway and it falls away.

A few ways to adjust it:

  • Stronger: use more reeds and flip them weekly, or place the diffuser near a doorway where air moves
  • Softer: take a few reeds out, and the oil will last longer too
  • Bigger spaces: a Beacon diffuser running Dream Aura Oil covers up to 300sqm

The reed diffuser care guide has more on reeds and placement.

Best rooms and seasons

Dream works all year. Citrus keeps it fresh in summer, and the amber base gives it enough warmth for winter.

It suits bedrooms and guest rooms, where a 3/5 strength sits comfortably. It's also a good fit for a home office, where you want the room to smell good without the scent taking over. In bathrooms, the citrus top reads as clean.

Ways to use Dream at home

Dream isn't currently made as a 100ml reed diffuser, so for a small room use the 200ml with fewer reeds. Traditional refills are for reed, wood and other passive diffusers only. Never pour them into an electric diffuser.

Dream FAQ

Is Dream a floral scent?

Partly. Jasmine sits in the heart, but citrus and tea balance it, so Dream reads as fresh and clean rather than floral.

Can I use Dream in a bedroom?

Yes. At 3 out of 5 it suits bedrooms well. If you prefer a lighter scent, start with fewer reeds.

How long does the Dream reed diffuser last?

Typically 1 to 6 months for the 200ml, depending on room size, airflow and how many reeds you use.
